Finding something to wear after you book your photo session can be stressful. What colors go well with your photogs editing, should I accessorize, etc. I have compiled a list of ways to help! Remember, find something that you feel confident in!
Should we go dressy or casual?
Both can be super cute! Think of the kind of photos you are doing! If you are taking family photos you may want to dress more casual. Jeans, sweaters, button ups, t-shirts (NO LOGOS!), BUT if you are taking engagement photos you may want to opt for the dresses and khakis. Check with your photog to see if they allow outfit changes!
2. Should you accessorize?
The short answer is YES! Accessories can really add to the photo! Rings, necklaces, hats, you name it!
3. What colors?
Typical rule of thumb is to wear neutrals! Neutrals go with most photographers editing and can also match your environment! If you chose bright distracting colors, you would take away from your beautiful self! It is best to stick with tan, white, grey, olives, and black!
4. Texture
This can be really fun to play with! Denim jackets, silk, you name it! They complement any photo well!
